Step 1 - Submit your GPA Calculator Worksheet (electronically - not printed out)

1. Get a print out of your transcript from the counseling office.  Your transcript must go back two years.  You will be using your grades from Fall 2014, Spring 2014, Fall 2013, and Spring 2013.

THIS IS THE SPREADSHEET YOU USE TO CALCULATE YOUR GPA -- Download it and save it once it's filled out.  You must email a copy to Mrs. Brady at tbrady@hemetusd.org.

If you need help, talk to one of the team members from last year.  They have already filled one out and should be able to help you.  You may also come to zero period and get help.

Once your GPA Worksheet is filled out, email a copy to Mrs. Brady at tbrady@hemetusd.org.

Step 2 - Prepare a Speech

You must deliver an original speech to the class/team that is exactly 1-1.5 minutes.  You must not go over 1.5 minutes and not go under 1 minute.  Your speech must have a beginning, a middle, and an end.  It must be your best effort to demonstrate your speaking skills.  You may use one 3x5 note card, but you should have most of the speech memorized.

Step 3 - Be prepared to start attending zero period when we get back from Spring Break.

Students enrolled in Calculus zero period will be excused, but will need to arrange one day when they can come to zero period and deliver their prepared speech.  This must take place within the first week back from the break.
