Reading Rubric - Argumentation
Print this form to use for your reading assignments. You must read and complete a rubric Monday-Thursday (that's four of them) and they are turned in together on Fridays.
Orwell's "Politics and English Language" Assignments

Have these assignments ready to turn in on Monday.
1. Four (4) rubrics - "On Civil Disobedience," group essay, two (2) more on your own.
2. Answer one (1) question from the book for EACH essay and attach the four (4) to the rubrics.
3. Unit 9 Vocabulary test
4. Take Practice Test #2 in your practice book. REPLICATE TESTING ENVIRONMENT!
A. Take it when you wake up.
B. Take it in a quiet room with no distractions.
C. Take it at a table or a desk sitting up.
D. Time yourself. Stop at one hour and see how far you get.
E. Don't use the answers during that hour.
5. Our next essay is "Letter from Birmingham Jail." You will want to have that read by Tuesday. If you want to begin a rubric for it, you may but it is not due until the next set of rubrics are turned in.
